M5 Fuel Cell
The M5 Fuel Cell is intended as an alternative power supply for stationary traffic monitoring equipment where no mains electricity (230 V) is available. It is an intelligent electric energy generator connected to on-demand energy storage. The production of energy is totally independent from environmental conditions as long as fuel is available. Methanol is the required fuel and was selected for its energy density. The M5 Fuel Cell is maintenance free and provides reliable energy for the life of the product. It is designed to be theft and vandalism-proof. Remote control is possible. The only emissions created during the production of energy are carbon dioxide and water vapour.
